They are extremely wide by the time they reach the floor with each one being a full 45" all the way around the hem

Sleeves: 18" and are 13" around the upper arm

Over that inner skirt there are the very full outer layers of the skirt

The front is embellished with four black grosgrain bows that have a large gold floral topped black button at their centers

Givenchy often attributed much of his later success to the years with to Mr Balenciaga and what he learned while there. In 1952, Givenchy founded his namesake house in Paris and quickly rose to fame as one of the great couturiers of our time. I am always pleased to find any of his Haute Couture work as it is so rare.
