The hem is so interesting because it is cut on a sharp angle that falls shorter on one side and then is substantially longer to fall to the floor on the other

The waist is seamed and there is a slight peplum under that seam that glides over the top of the hips

If this does not scream the best of what the eighties was I do not know what could otherwise
