1960s Bill Blass Cream Shell & Shift Dress Accessories and Separates Bodice: 12" from the neckA lovely refined shift and shell set that is from when Bill Blass was designing for Maurice Rentner! The fabric is wonderful swirls of cream on cream with a slightly silverish cast to it. It is cut very simply but perfectly. The under dress has a lingerie weight silk top to which the skirt is attached, Over this is the little sleeveless shell. This is a clever technique to ensure that the skirt sits perfectly and that the wearer does not inadvertently
