Ssh36 #8 faux leather lining and aSsh36 #8 The shell is an original, Russian Ssh36 (model 1936; 1936 40) example. When purchased the shell was in a rust affected condition; the inner dome and out upper sides were most affected but I was surprised at how well the helmet cleaned up. The vent comb and the inner vent area were rust affected and I had to use a little filler. There is still some evidence of the remains of rust on the vent comb but it looks okay.
