It's bright enough I can see it when moved even in low light but fire agate is best viewed in direct sunlight for it's full effect

The fordite adds just a small amount of thickness to the holder over all

It's in a top domed teardrop with a flat back. All sides are polished. This is modern fordite from Chillecothe Ohio (freightliner type).
