In early January 2009 snow fell overnight leaving a nice winter scene

an October snow storm brought close to a foot of snow to Denver

Lining up the various lines in the same direction also brings you through the image and allows your eye to capture the various elements at each glance of the image

As I looked down at the sand in the cover I notice the rock in the sand

Letting the sun wash out some of the scene I photographed these with a hint of the Rocky Mountains in the distance prior to the sun dropping behind the mountains to end another day in Denver

Oakland from Alameda at Dawn Size:18"x24" In early January 2009 snowOn a quiet November morning, I headed to the other side of Alameda near Grand Harbor and photographed the harbor with Oakland in the distance. It was a still morning with some clouds in the area this year, and as I was photographing this a few boaters were heading to the boat ramp to start the day.
